My (many!) sketchbooks have become an integral part of my process. I can get lost nature-journaling a day out in the field or sketching a specific subject. I experiment with techniques and materials, and although I do have a few sketchbooks that are not curated and serve only to dribble ideas and quick drawings, I love to keep some books neatly filled with beautiful pages to flip through from time to time. These make me happy.
