This collection is a selection from the “100 Birds Series” I illustrated between 2024 and 2025 on my sketchbook, using mix media materials. I set out to illustrate 100 birds commonly found in Portugal – some residents, some visitors – to overcome my fear to draw birds. I discovered a love for birds and a growing respect for all birdwatchers out there. Amazing creatures that, for me, beautifully illustrate the word freedom.
